Hollywood traffic

First time ever visiting the Hollywood Bowl Overlook, and it won't be the last. I'm not sure why, but there were only 4 other people up here... do LA folks just get used to these views?

Shark Fin Cove

Highway 1 in California is without a doubt the greatest road trip in the United States. This "hidden" cove is tucked into Davenport, a tiny town just north of Santa Cruz. I say "hidden" because it's not marked, no signage, and you can't see it from the road. But a mere 2 minute stroll off the road and your jaw hits the ground.

Loved how this long-exposure photo worked out, but was more surprised to see a small appearance by Ursa Major - due to the city lights I didn't even notice when taking this shot. It wasn't until I got home and started to post process that I realized it was there!
